SANCHAARI

Allahabad, a city that was once a perfect blend of the modern, contemporary, and the traditional, a city churning out intellectuals in diverse fields, ranging from artists, poets, politicians, and bureaucrats writers to academicians, renowned musicians to the most acclaimed actors and filmmakers. Today we come together to create a vibrant environment in the city ,rebuild what has got lost in the oblivion and build a city everyone can reckon with. Members of this trust are like minded people who have the energy and foresight to bring about a change and have come together to carry out the challenge. Activities, events, interactive sessions, festivals, workshops organized with a definite purpose of sensitizing citizens of various age groups and people from different sections of the society, will be organized to carry out this effort of making the city what it can be.

Samina Naqvi is an educator by profession with a career in teaching, has established schools, and has been a principal for 16 years. Passionate about heritage, art, and literature, she strongly believes that culture is what binds people, and heritage has to be valued and preserved art reflects sensitivity and good literature prompts a dialogue and a thought process.

She is associated with various educational institution and their heads. She is a self-taught administrator, a great mentor and a motivator.Indebted by the rich culture and proud heritage of the city, she wishes to contribute to the endeavours of sensitizing the importance to our proud , rich and diverse culture and help in reliving , revisiting , and rebuilding Prayagraj.

Sanchaari - a name synonymous with art culture, creativity, and literature.
Founded in the year 2014, Sanchaari is a registered society that works towards sewing the threads of literature, history, culture, creativity, art, and music together. Our aim is to rekindle in the hearts of every individual the love and appreciation of anything that is creative and promotes harmony in varied ways.
Having organised 6 successful literature cum culutral festivals with guests like Mahesh Bhatt, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ali Fazal, Danish Iqbal, Rana Safvi,Poonam Saxena, Semeen Ali, Adity Chakravarti, Neelam Saran Gaur, Muzzafur Ali, Ashok Chakradhar and many more joining us, Sanchaari keeps moving ahead with fresh new ideas and activities that encourage art and culture.

DIL EK KHANE ANEK

To celebrate food heritage ,and bring people together for the love of food , 'Dil ek khane anek ' truely resonates the social fabric of Allahabad where many communities showcase their authentic cuisine with pride and style.

The eponymous 'Stray birds of n got the stray birders of Allahabad together for a common cause--passion for our feathered friends.The motley group is led by the erudite Prof.Raghu Sinha with not only his encyclopedic knowledge but some awe inspiring photography too.

NOVEL TEA

NovelTea is a confluence of minds that revel in the joy of the written word. Those who intend to further quench their thirst for even more literature come together here. To inspire discussions and boost the exchange of thoughts on an individual as well as commonly decided reads is what NovelTea does as a book club.
